First Muslim Funeral Home of St. Louis

The Executive committee of the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis has approved the project of erecting the First Mulsim Funeral Home of St. Louis at Daar-ul-Islam Masjid under the Directorship of Br. Adil Imdad as our First Muslim Funeral Director of St. Louis, MO.:

The Limousine (Hearse to carry the Deceased to the place of burial) has been purchased- courtesy of Dr. Hussain.

Until our project is completed, we are using JB Smith Funeral Home (314-781-1115) for Ghusal (washing) of the deceased.

The approximate cost of the Washing, Transportation, Burial is $5,000.00

Once our Funeral Home will be completed, the cost of Burial is expected to come down to about $2,000.00

We currently use the following Cemeteries for Muslim burials:

a. Bosnian Muslim Cemetery at: Cornor of S.Broadway & Ripa St.

b. Lake Charles Park Cemetery at: 7775 St. Charles Rock Rd.

c. Lakewood Cemetery at: Cornor of Mackenzie & Terri Lynn St.

d. Our Redeemer Cemetery at: 8300 Mackenzie Rd.

e. Forever Cemetery at: 740 N. Mason Rd.
